Load
Load 20 units directly into the machine. The hopper holds up to 140 units—no separate pre-gripper loading step required.
NU-TEC / FLAGSHIP EQUIPMENT
Meet the Nu-Tec Automated Coating Machine. Purpose-built robotic handling and rotational application bring consistency to every cycle.
01 / 03Apply food-grade adhesive and powdered or granular material to cylindrical objects up to 11mm in diameter. Process 20 units simultaneously—using just two operators.
Controlled rotation helps create a full, even coating with a crisp adhesive cutoff line.
Purpose-built tooling picks up 20 units to a consistent depth in one motion.
A 20-litre vessel supports longer runs with fewer interruptions for refilling.
Variable speed and dip duration let operators tune the coating process.
FROM LOADING TO FINISHED PRODUCT
Load 20 units directly into the machine. The hopper holds up to 140 units—no separate pre-gripper loading step required.
The robotic arm moves all 20 units through a controlled adhesive spray while rotating each unit for even, 360° coverage.
Units dip into the material while rotating at up to 1,000 RPM. Adjustable dip time and a clump-breaking mechanism support consistent distribution.
Finished units are ejected into a collection tray, ready for quality inspection and packaging.
THE DETAILS THAT MATTER
*Application-weight examples are based on a 2-inch unit with a 30% adhesive formulation. Actual throughput and coating results depend on the product, material and process settings. Specifications are subject to change without notice.
GOOD QUESTIONS. CLEAR ANSWERS.
Have a product-specific question?
Let’s talk through your application.
The machine applies food-grade adhesive and powdered or granular coating material to cylindrical objects up to 11mm in diameter, including pre-roll applications.
Consistent insertion depth, controlled rotation and pass speeds, and a clump-breaking coating station help deliver uniform treatment across each cycle.
The specification sheet recommends less than 12% moisture, with under 10% ideal for coating performance.
Yes. Coating weight can be influenced by adhesive quantity, the adhesive percentage in the formulation, and dip time in the coating station.
The published ranges are 0.03–0.06g of adhesive and 0.04–0.08g of coating material per unit. The specification sheet’s examples use a 2-inch unit and a 30% adhesive formulation. Results depend on your product, material and settings.
Available add-ons listed in the specification sheet include a cartridge-based alternative loading system, a vision system and a remote-connect modem. Discuss the right configuration for your application with Nu-Tec.
